Gars has been part of Brighton’s dining scene for more than 40 years. Now, we’re beginning a new chapter.

Our new menu takes inspiration from across China, bringing traditional flavours and techniques together with a more contemporary approach. Expect dishes made for sharing, familiar favourites reworked for today, and plenty of things you may not have tried before.

Set across three floors in the heart of Brighton’s Lanes, Gars combines relaxed dining, two bars and spaces for private celebrations.

Our private dining and karaoke room can accommodate up to 22 guests seated, making it ideal for birthdays, dinners and group occasions.
